Some people aren't working this week so it's a great time to catch up on errands that have been left undone. BUT there's also a definite tug make the most of your vacation and get out and DO things, not just shop (check out my posts from earlier this week about things to do)! So here's my solution. Get out during the day, do that tiyul, visit that museum, have your picnic... and at night, do your errands virtually!
I personally rotate where I shop online, I often shop at Groo or Wallashops... but for some things, I just have to turn to Amazon - either for products that aren't available locally or the markup is too high. And, with Amazon, you'll often get free shipping, and you'll always know UP FRONT if you have to pay any extra fees.
Amazon's prices change frequently but they're really great about letting you know if an item in your cart has changed price.
I love to check out the Daily Deals for items that match my shopping list.
Today's deals include some things I've had on my list and I really like finding a discount!
iPhone charger cables - 3-pack
Stainless steel Forks & Spoons set (somehow my forks and spoons keep disappearing!)
Just remember - avoid VAT and other import fees by staying below the $75 tax threshold! If you do go over, you will see exactly what you'll pay in taxes at checkout. I only do this if I'm actually buying a product that costs more than $75. Otherwise, I place separate orders that each total under $75.
If you're in the USA and buying a gift for someone in Israel, please follow those guidelines, too - or be prepared to prepay all taxes and fees. You'll see them before you checkout, so don't worry about surprises. You will need to enter the recipient's ID number at checkout too, so the package can clear customs.
Hope you found this helpful! If yes, be sure to find me on social media, and share this post, too!
