A few weeks ago, I posted here about a tuna recall, that affected a limited number of tuna cans.
Today, that recall was expanded.
In addition to the previously recalled products, the recall now also includes tuna sold with the "Prince" and "Diamond" labels (with a Chatam Sofer hashgacha) in 960g
cans production dates between Aug 18 and October 25
(2015), due to
possibly elevated levels of histamine in the product.
Consumption of tuna with elevated histamine can cause symptoms of an allergic reaction.
Consumers who have purchased this product are asked NOT to eat it.
To arrange for a replacement of this product, call customer service at 08-623-2983, Sunday - Thursday, between 8 am and 4 pm.
