This week's menu planning is a little bit belated. Oops.
But I decided to make a plan anyhow, or you know what happens.
I'm including the retroactive plan, and only writing suppers. Lunches will be leftovers or soups and sandwiches.
Sunday: Leftovers from Shabbat lunch, which was pareve cooked in dairy pots.
Monday: Embellished leftovers from Friday night
Tuesday: Squash Soup, cut veggies, baked ziti
Wednesday: Split Pea Soup in the Crock Pot, Lentil patties with sweet and sour sauce over rice, whatever veggies I manage to cut up or steam
Thursday: Pizza? (If I buy cheese) and salad

I like to have a regular plan that allows some creativity e.g. Soup and garlic bread (or toast and butter if the 4yo is expected to eat it) always on a Thursday but it can be a different soup each week. Monday is pasta day but with different pastas and sauces or vegetables. It makes it simple to plan. And yes, of course Sunday is always leftovers from Shabbat here too. When we were kids Sunday lunch was always the leftover meat, cold cuts and/or chicken fried into omelets.
