Shabbat Menu!
I cannot believe how fast this week went! It does not quite seem possible that Shabbat is almost here again, but here we are, and it's Thursday night! Time to figure out my Shabbat menu!
Seems like it's a challah baking week, so I'll make the dough tonight and bake the challot in the morning.
Here's what's on the menu at our house:
Homemade challot
Vegetable soup with noodles (Friday night)
Stew or cholent in the crock pot for lunch (my husband believes in eating cholent year-round!)
Chicken with bulgur
Vegetarian bulgur for the vegetarian
Artichokes
Roasted Kohlrabi
Beets
Salad 1 - lettuce with honey-cinnamon oranges
Salad 2 - cabbage and carrot salad
Fruit for dessert
Seudah 3 will be challot, salads, spreads...
